Visiting London

Sunday's Star (30): Matthew Bomer

Mattew Staton Bomer (Texas, 11 de Octubre de 1977) es un actor de cine y televisión estadounidense. Más conocido por interpretar al exconvicto Neal Caffrey en la serie de Estados Unidos "White Collar" (Ladrón de guante blanco, en España).

Comenzó su carrera en el Teatro Alley, en una compañía teatral sin ánimo de lucro, posteriormente se graduó en Bellas Artes en la Universidad Carnegie Mellon. Después de graduarse se mudó a Nueva York y trabajó en el teatro hasta que debutó como Ian Kipling en la serie All My Children (de la ABC). El 23 de octubre de 2009 se estrenó White Collar, protagonizada por él. En 2012 partició en la película Magic Mike, dicho año realizó un cameo en un capítulo de la serie de FOX Glee, interpretando al hermano mayor de Blaine Anderson.

Bomer tiene una relación con el publicista Simon Halls, tienen 3 hijos. Confirmó su orientación sexual en febrero de 2012.

Matthew Staton Bomer (Born in Texas, October 11, 1977) is an american film, stage and television actor. He's best known from his role in the ABC tv show "White Collar".

He started his career in the Alley theatre, a non profit theatre company, after that he graduated from Carnegie Mellon University, in Pittsburgh, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. After graduating Bomer moved to New York, where he obtained a small role as Ian Kipling, on All My Children. In October 23 of 2009 he began starring in White Collar. In 2012 he appeared in Magic Mike, he also appeared in a Glee chapter, acting as Blaine Anderson's big brother.

He has a relationship with publicist Simon Halls. The couple has three sons. He first publicly acknowledged that he was gay in 2012, when he thanked Halls and their children during an acceptance speech for his Steve Chase Humanitarian Award.
