Especial Diciembre de Franela // Lumberjack December

Como venía diciendo en el post anterior hoy vamos a hacer hincapié en un fenómeno que nos alegra este frío mes de Diciembre: El Diciembre de Franela.

Este peculiar movimiento ha nacido en Twitter por la iniciativa de @mario_nix (Gran compañero Hunk en las idas y venidas de este rincón de internet) y básicamente consiste en vestir de franela a tu avatar de Twitter o, mejor aún, vestirte tú mismo con una camisa de leñador y ponerla de foto de perfil en Twitter para el regocijo de todos.

El Diciembre de Franela ha surgido a raíz de la afición que compartimos muchos por los chicos vestidos con camisa de franela, más conocidas como camisas de leñador. Estas camisas las vestían tradicionalmente los leñadores Americanos y Canadienses (Lumberjacks) que se dedicaban a cortar los arboles de las plantaciones forestales y sacarlos de los bosques para producir madera.


Os dejo por aquí un par de fotos para ponernos en materia:

Resultan un atuendo muy masculino y, siendo sincero, ponerme un chico de buen ver con una camisa de estas y ahí que voy!. Muchas marcas de ropa han hecho su propia versión de estas camisas, poniéndolas de moda.

Desde la Hunklopedia queremos impulsar esta interesante y divertida iniciativa, así que si quieres formar parte del Diciembre de Franela sólo tienes que seguir los siguientes pasos:

1 - Consigue una camisa de leñador
2 - ¡Póntela!
3 - Sácate una foto con la camisa puesta
4 - Actualiza tu foto de perfil de Twitter con dicha foto
5 - Twittea lo agusto que se está uno formando parte del Diciembre de Franela en el HashTag: #DiciembreDeFranela


Este Hunk ya ha tomado las medidas oportunas para formar parte del evento, así que animaos y tomad parte!

As we were saying in the previous post now we’d like to give more attention to one thing that make us happy in this cold December: The Lumberjack December!

This curious movement born in Twitter by @mario_nix ‘s initiative (a great friend of us Hunks) and basically consists in dressing your Twitter profile pic as a Lumberjack with a cool Lumberjack shirt, or even better, dressing yourself with a Lumberjack shirt and updating your Twitter profile photo.

The Lumberjack December started in response to the attraction we many feel to the boys wearing these lumberjack shirts. The American and Canadian lumberjacks used to wear these shirts when they did their work cutting the trees in the forest.

You sure have seen many pics of boys wearing these shirts in the beginning of the post (hope you like them by the way).

It is a very masculine outfit and, seriously, boys with these shirts are HOT.

From this blog we want to encourage you to support this fun event of the internet so, if you want to participate you just have to follow a few steps:

1. Get a Lumberjack shirt

2. Wear it!

3. Take a pic of you wearing that shirt

4. Update your Twitter profile with that photo

5. Tweet how sexy you feel wearing that outfit and being part of the Lumberjack December in #DiciembreDeFranela HashTag.

This Hunk already changed his profile photo to participate, so hope you do so too!

Sunday's Star (XXII): Emile Hirsch

Este diciembre es el Diciembre de la Franela, un fenómeno que conoceréis los que seguis nuestra cuenta de Twitter (Sí, hemos cambiado nuestro avatar del Twitter a un estilo muy bucolicopastorileñador). Para que todos podais conocer de primera mano lo que significa el Diciembre de la Franela vamos a hacer un post mañana explicando todos los detalles.

Siguiendo con este diciembre tan peculiar tenemos hoy un post especial del Sunday's Star: Emile Hirsch, nuestro chico con camisa de franela de la semana:

Emile Davenport Hirsch (13 de marzo de 1985, Topanga, California), 27 años, es una ctor estadounidense. Comenzó su carrera de actor en 1990 apareciendo en varias películas de televisión y series. Tras su papel en Sabrina, la bruja adolescente, Lords of Dogtown, The Empeor's Club e Into de Wild se hizo conocido. Ha aparecido en algunas otra películas junto actores y actrices como Mattew McConaghey y Uma Thurman.

Hirsch vive en Venice, California, y le gusta escribir poesía y guiones de cine, además de practicar skate.

Emile Davenport Hirsch (born on 13 March 1985 in Topanga, California), 27, is an American television and film actor. He began performing in the late 1990s appearing in several TV films and series, and became known as an actor after his roles in Lords of Dogtown, The Emperor's Club and Into the Wild.

Hirsch resides in Venice, California, and enjoys writing poetry and screenplays, along with skateboard. He has won five awards including the Critics Choice Award for his performance in Into The Wild. He was called one of the Actors of the Year in Esquire (November 2007) along with Denzel Washington, Cate Blanchett, Javier Bardem and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Surf Morning

Las nubes de tormenta y la mar revuelta eran las grandes protagonistas de aquella mañana de invierno. No era la época más propicia para tomar el sol o pasear por la playa, pero había muchas más cosas que hacer en aquella playa desierta. Clavó la tabla de surf en la arena y observó las olas mientras se preparaba para sacar provecho de aquella mañana tan prometedora.

En cuanto se metió al agua y la primera ola golpeó su cuerpo mojando la fina camiseta que tapaba su pecho, sintió un escalofrío, pero no le importó, continuó remando encima de su tabla de surf hasta que cabalgó sobre la primera hora, y la segunda, y todas las demás.

Al acabar de romper las olas solo le quedó desnudarse ahí mismo, mientras los primeros rayos de sol secaban su cuerpo. No había nadie más en aquella playa salvo él, tumbado desnudo sobre su tabla de surf en la arena pudo disfrutar de un gran momento de paz mientras el tiempo pasaba sin que se diera cuenta, un momento especial que esperaba compartir algún día con alguien.

Stormy clouds and the rough sea were the main characters in that winter morning. It wasn't the best season to sunbathe or to have a walk by the sea but there were lots of things to do on that empty beach. He sank his surfboard in the sand and had a glance at the waves while picturing how he would make the most of that promising morning.

As soon as he stepped into the water and the first wave hit his body soaking his thin t-shirt that covered his chest, he felt a shiver but he didn't mind. He went on swimming and surfing for hours.

When he got out of the water he just took all his clothes off while the first rays of the sun dried him. There was no one else on that beach. It was just him, lying down on his surfboard, he enjoyed every minute of the peace he felt there. A special moment he hoped to share with someone else some day.

Birthday!!!

Aquél día era especial. Era un día que se repetía cada año, pero un día especial al fin y al cabo. Tras un desayuno copioso comenzó a recibir llamadas de todos sus amigos y conocidos, incluso de los que no sabía desde hacía mucho tiempo. 

La fiesta que le esperaba aquella tarde fue lo mejor que recordaba en mucho tiempo. Todos estaban ahí, con lo que la diversión fue generalizada.

Su día acabo con un baño en la piscina cuando el sol se ocultaba en la lejanía. Solo quedaban dos invitados y estaba muy claro lo que iba a suceder. En cuanto ambos se quitaron el bañador y nadaron hacia él supo que aquella noche iba a ser legendaria.

That day was special. It was something that happened every year, but it was special anyway. After a heavy breakfast he started receiving several calls from all his friends and close people, even from those who he hasn't seen in a long time.
The party that he went in the afternoon was the best thing that he experienced in a long time. Everyone was there, that's why he enjoyed it so much.
His special day ended with a bath in the pool when the sun was setting. Only two remained in the house and it was clear that something great was about to happen. In the very moment they took off their swimming trunks he knew that night would be legendary.

Sunday's Star (XXI): Aitor Ocio

Aitor Ocio Carrión (Vitoria-Gasteiz, Álava, 28 de noviembre de 1976), 36 años, es un ex-futbolista español. Jugaba de defensa en el Athletic Club de Bilbao.

Inició su carrera futbolística en el Aurrera de Vitoria-Gasteiz, en su ciudad natal. Tras su paso por numerosos equipos de España y sus buenas temporadas en el deporte se le abrieron las puertas al Athletic Club de Bilbao (aunque fue con el Sevilla FC con el que consiguió triunfar en el mundo futbolístico).

El 20 de mayo de 2012 anunció su retirada del futbol profesional.

Aitor Ocio Carrión (born 28 November 1976 in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Alava), 36, is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a central defender in Athletic Club of Bilbao.

During his 18 year-long senior career in which he amassed 173 games and five goals in the Spanish National League. He played mainly for Athletic Club of Bilbao and Sevilla FC, winning four major titles with the latter, including two UEFA cups.

On the 20th of May of 2012 he announced his retirement from professional football.
